ZERO 2 NOTHING is an Athenian band, which started its course in 2018 with this name, while it was first formed as SILVER MOCKINGBIRDS in 2014. This year, after three singles, they released their first full-length album, “Limits Of Temptation”.
The band consists of Thodoris Tsounatos on vocals, Vassilis Kouvelis on guitar, Ourania Vlachoudi on keyboards and Christos Peveretos on bass. Musically they mention that they move in Heavy/Progressive paths, but in reality, however there are many diverse elements that can be found in their music. From Stoner to Blues passages in “In God’s Will”, from pure Heavy Metal elements in “Running Deep in Me” to the really Progressive but rather Rock than Metal “Bloody Mary”.
All of the above create a very interesting result, since all these different materials match together, giving a unique identity to the band, despite the fact that it might not yet figured out exactly where it stands, music wise. However, this is not necessarily bad.
The group shows a will to separate and distinguish itself, creating something original which, having in mind that in this debut is so obvious, in the future it might reveal itself as something really unique. Overall, an interesting debut, a nice proposal from ZERO 2 NOTHING that, with a beginning like that, lay a solid foundation for a dynamic sequel!
