2018 was a great year for the Black Metal scene and it gets even better with the “Patriarchs Of Evil” release of the Hellenic Black Metallers VARATHRON. It took them four years to release this album, so it clearly wasn’t a sloppy job.

Epic riffs and dark atmosphere is the key to success, as also Necroabyssious’ beastly vocals along with a theatrical point of view makes a perfect match for a great record. Guitar work is amazing, playing one unforgettable riff after the other. So..strong heavy metal riffing, mysticism,  atmospheric keyboards and catchy melodies. What more to you want?!

It’s a worthy piece of music that needs to be in everyone’s collection. VARATHRON added a beautiful magnetic part into their legacy. Let the Hellenic Black Metal spirit haunt you!
