SOILWORK have released their highly anticipated new album “Övergivenheten” through Nuclear Blast Records. Alongside the new album, the band have unveiled a live video for its new single “Valleys Of Gloam”.
Björn Strid comments on the song: “ ‘Valleys Of Gloam’ has a fierce metallic rock drive and sticks out quite a bit on this album. It might remind some people of the ‘Figure Number Five’ days – yet it’s moving forward with the bands new found era, where the melodic language and intensity unites in a unique and beautiful way. Musically and lyrically evolved, SOILWORK have released their most complex and elaborate album to date which marks a new phase of their career. Not only due to the tremendous effort and time they put in but also the results on the album reflect years of development and experience as a band, which is ultimately provided on “Övergivenheten” for the fans to enjoy.
