Vicious Instinct Records, is extremely proud to announce the brand new album from the Estonian Death Metal band BEYOND THE STRUCTURE entitled “Scrutiny”, which will be released on April 28th, 2022. The album writing process for their second full-length album began at the end of 2018. After 10 instrumental demos were written, the band began rehearsing for the new material with their new line-up. The 8 best songs were chosen and the recording of the final product commenced in 2020.
Thematically, the album addresses the trials and difficulties that humanity faces over the course of evolution. The lyrics are inspired by the works of Jean-Paul Sartre, the Strugatsky brothers and Viktor Pelevin. The band touches upon the crisis of existential existence, mass psychosis, and the inevitable catastrophes caused by the actions of a consumption-based society.
