MALEFIC THRONE is a three-headed supergroup of Death Metal, that unites members of the American Death Metal scene. Guitarist Gene Palubicki (PERDITION TEMPLE, ANGELCORPSE, BLASPHEMIC CRUELTY), singer / bassist Steve Tucker (MORBID ANGEL) and drummer John Longstreth (ORIGIN, HATE ETERNAL, ex-ANGELCOR) The soundtrack to their EP debut is based on the fundamental Death Metal sounds and riffs for which all three members have been known for the past three decades.

Palubicki explains the band’s genesis:

“MALEFIC THRONE was designed through discussions and ideas from the summer of 2020, deep in the early turmoil of the pandemic, while everyone was in a vacuum for live shows, tours, etc. We were just thinking to do it, to write a furious Death Metal material with the three of us and see what happens.We initially thought of doing an independent demo that was released, but we also approached the Hells Headbangers to see if they were interested in handling the first release of the EP . “
