REJECTION come from Corinthos, Greece and “A New Age of Insanity” is their third full length album. They play Groove Metal / Metalcore and their sound has several influences from LAMB OF GOD, KORN, SLIPKNOT and other bands of the so-called modern metal. Note that “A New Age of Insanity” is released by the band themselves, something that has also happened with their previous album, “Subject 43” from 2013.

The album includes 10 tracks of modern metal with really good production (necessary for this style of music) and with all the characteristics we find in traditional Metalcore records. The compositions move in mid-tempo rhythms with some bursts in moments, the guitars groove-lift and there is a variety of vocals, changing between brutal and “clean” properly. The band shows a willingness to create dynamic songs and shows a lot of energy. Although REJECTION doesn’t play anything original, I can say that the album sounds quite pleasant as they have filtered their influences and they have their personal feeling and sound in their songs making the result interesting.

REJECTION in “A New Age Of Insanity” sounds quite improved compared with their previous two albums and if they continue showing the same enthusiasm, in their next releases they will sure be capable of achieving great things. All fans of Metalcore must give a chance to REJECTION and listen to “A New Age of Insanity” which is one of the most remarkable releases in the genre of modern metal for 2019.
