METALLICA is apparently teasing a deluxe version of the band’s self-titled album.

Tha band shared a video performing the song “Wherever I May Roam” during the San Diego concert in 1992. It was accompanied by the caption “‘And the road becomes my bride…’ — San Diego 1992” along with the hashtags “#fbf”, “#BlackAlbum2021”.

Back in 2017, METALLICA announced that it was preparing deluxe remastered versions of its “…And Justice For All” (1988) and “Metallica” (1991) albums and reached out to its hardcore fans for help to get content for the new editions. “…And Justice For All” has since been reissued for its 30th anniversary in 2018, and now the the self-titled LP, more commonly called “The Black Album,” is expected to get the same treatment.
