DORO one of the most characteristic female artists of heavy metal. Beloved by everyone and old “crash” by many, now she returns dynamically with a new album! One and a half years after her highly successful double album “Forever Warriors, Forever United” (# 1 on the German vinyl charts, # 4 on the album charts), the new release of the metal queen DORO Pesch promises us many new emotions. A foretaste of what will follow in 2021 is this particular single.
Musically, the new song is reminiscent of the glorious moments of the blonde German singer. The song is mid tempo, quite heavy, dark and with a “concert” chorus, reminiscent of the classic “All We Are”. The lyrics speak of unbreakable, unconditional love for a person who is facing deep problems. Even though it is not always easy to deal with this person, you are still doing everything you can to support and overcome these difficulties together – even if you literally have to tear down many walls.
“Brickwall” was recorded in Hamburg with Andreas Bruhn (ex-SISTERS OF MERCY) and will also be available as 7″ colored vinyl, in gold and silver limited to 300 copies each.
The second side includes a wonderful live performance of “Soldier Of Metal” recorded during the recent winter tour of “Forever Warriors”, where this particular song was celebrated by its fans every night. It is supposed to help fans to remember the feeling of a live concert, raising their anticipation for the next tour, which we hope will start this fall.
