By decision of Dave Mustaine, the former bassist of Thrash Metallers MEGADETH was removed from the band.

Ellefson was publicly accused on social media of having an online relationship with a minor and although the court has not yet ruled on it and the testimony of the girl involved that she was not a minor and that what happened was a common consent, the band announced that they are separating their ways with the musician.
