CALL OF CHARON, the torchbearers of Modern Death Metal, have announced their new EP “The Sound Of Sorrow“, which will be released on December 2nd via Massacre Records!
Moreover, the 5-track-EP features guest vocals by Jamie Hanks (I DECLARE WAR) as well as Jenni Gornicki (ex-CONVICTIVE) on selected songs.
All songs were mixed and mastered by Tue Madsen at the Antfarm Studios.
The band comments: “The feedback to our debut three years ago was so huge that it was very difficult for us to decide how to deal with the situation. Due to the forced break and concert and festival cancellations, it was not possible for us to give the release the necessary space and the thought of “just shooting a second album after it” didn’t seem right to us. The new EP should be seen as a supplement to the album. Somewhere the release also closes a circle for us: We go back to our early days (“The Cleansing”), unfold new potentials of the album (“Verblasster Glaube”) and give you a preview of what you can expect from us in the future (“One By One”).
