On January 8, BLIND GUARDIAN, whose singer Hansi Kürsch is also a member of DEMONS & WIZARDS, released a statement on recent events in the US Capitol. Here, too, the band stays away from any expression of violence – however, anything about collaborating with Jon Schaffer remains open. Specifically, the Germans report:

“On the occasion of the events in the US Capitol:

We are very shocked and our thoughts go to the relatives of the deceased. We explicitly deter any form of violence, whether directed against institutions or against individuals. The facts must be fully established and those responsible must be brought to justice. Waiting for the developments, for the time being we will not comment further.”
